From March 1st to 3rd, Amb. Wang Yu, Vice President of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs, attended the 3rd Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Türkiye. The Forum theme is “Advancing Diplomacy in  Times of Turmoil”. H.E. Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Türkiye, and H.E. Mr. Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye, addressed the Forum opening and closing ceremonies respectively.
Wang Yu spoke on the topics of “Exploring a Guarantorship Model for Peace and Security in the Middle East”, “New Approaches to Empower the Least Developed Countries” and “Building Asia-Pacific Regional Architectures: the Challenge of Unmatching Interests”, communicated extensively with participants, actively introduced the Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy, major concepts and initiatives put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping, and elaborated on China’s foreign policy on its neighborhood in the new era, China’s position on hot spot issues such as Palestinian-Israeli conflict, China’s experience in poverty reduction, and China’s Global Artificial Intelligence Governance Initiative, etc..
Wang Yu also exchanged views on China- Türkiye relations and institutional exchanges and cooperation with Dr. Nuh Yilmaz, Chairman of the Center for Strategic Research of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye (SAM), and Mr. Cafer Okray, Vice President of the Marmara Group Strategic and Social Research Foundation of Türkiye.
