Letter from ICWA, India to President Wang Chao on the Battle Against COVID-19

On May 18,Amb. T. C. A. Raghavan, Director General of the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) wrote a letter to Mr. Wang Chao, President of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), expressing his appreciation for President Wang’s earlier letter briefing him on China’s battle against COVID-19 and his letter of sympathy and solidarity to the Indian people. Amb. Raghavan said,the COVID-19 crisis is a real opportunity to enhance bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
He also expressed that this year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and India. Messages of felicitations have been exchanged between the leadership of our two countries on April 1. ICWA also organized a webinar titled “India-China Relations @70 Recapping the Milestone: Imaging the Future” on May 5. The dialogues between our two institutions have been successful and productive. We look forward to even stronger partnership with CPIFA.
