Recently, Mr. Li Huilai, Vice President of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs, sent letters to former politicians and celebrities in Cyprus and Malta to show sympathy and solidarity on two countries’ fight against COVID-19.

They acknowledge that, under the leadership of President Xi Jinping and the Chinese government, the COVID-19 epidemic has been effectively controlled in China and they highly appreciate China ’s assistance to Cyprus and Malta during the epidemic.
