The Third China-Austria Young Leaders Forum was Successfully Held in Austria

From 9 to 12 April 2018, the Third China-Austria Young Leaders Forum, co-sponsored by the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) and the Foreign Policy and United Nations Association of Austria (UNA-Austria), was successfully held in Vienna. About 20 representatives from political, economic, academic and media fields of our two countries had in-depth discussions on the topics of “Global Governance and Building a Community of Shared Future for Mankind”, “The Pursuit of the Belt and Road Initiative and China-Austria, China-EU Relations” and “Sports and Youth: Olympic Winter Games 2022 in Beijing”. Mr. Wolfgang Sobotka, the President of the National Council of Austria, Mr. Wolfgang Schuessel, the former Austrian Federal Chancellor and President of UNA-Austria, Mr. Peter Jankowitsch, the former Austrian Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Lukas Mandl, the Member of European Parliament, Ambassador Gregor Woschnagg, Vice-President of UNA-Austria, Mr. Martin Eichtinger, member of State Governemnt of Lower Austria met with the participants respectively. During their stay in Austria, the delegation also visited St. Pölten, the capital city of Lower Austria.
