At the invitation of the France China Foundation, Honorary President Li
Zhaoxing of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs led a delegation
to France from 8 to 11 Mars. The delegation met with President Claude Bartolone
of the French National Assembly, President Laurent Fabius of the French Constitutional
Council, Former French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin and the economist
Jacques Mistral. The two sides exchanged views on Sino-French relations and
European situation. The delegation also respectively met with the heads of the
France China Foundation, the France China Committee and the Charles de Gaulle
Foundation to discuss how to further deepen the cooperation with these institutions.
