At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), the 92^nd U.S. Congressional Staff Delegation organized by US-Asia Institute visited Beijing, Shanghai and Ningxia respectively from November 2 to 11, 2013. Mr. Zhang Ping, Vice President of CPIFA, met with the delegation and hosted a luncheon in its honor in Beijing. The delegation also met with officials from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chinese Securities Regulatory Commission and China Investment Corporation. The delegation visited China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone in Shanghai and one relocated neighborhood of the immigrants from the impoverished mountainous area of Southern Ningxia. The two sides exchanged views on China-US relations, bilateral trade and investment.
