At the invitation of CPIFA, Mr. Nikolay Bordyuzha, Secretary General of CIS Collective Security Treaty Organization, visited Beijing and Chengde from 28 April to 2 May 2011. In Beijing, Ms. Fu Ying, Vice Foreign Minister, and Mr. Cheng Tao, Vice President of CPIFA, met with Mr. Bordyuzha and exchanged views with him on cooperation between Collective Security Treaty Organization and Shanghai Cooperation Organization, current situation in Central Asia, information security, combat on drugs and terrorism. Mr. Bordyuzha also interacted with Chinese experts and scholars from China International Institute for Strategic Society, China Institute of Contemporary International Relations, China Institute of International Studies, National Defense University PLA China and China Foreign Affairs University on “Functions of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and Security Situation in Europe and Asia”.
