At the invitation of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), the 1^st US Congressional Staff Delegation of 2011 composed of 12 members organized by the US-China Policy Foundation visited Beijing and Shanghai successively from April 17 to 23. During the visit in Beijing, Mr. Ma Wenpu, Vice Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress, Amb. Chen Yonglong, Vice President of the CPIFA, Mr. An Gang, Counselor of the Department of North American and Oceanian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs met with or hosted banquets respectively in honor of the delegation. The two sides exchanged views on social and economic development of China, China-US relations and other issues.
