At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs(CPIFA),Mr. Michael Glos, former German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, visited Chongqing and Shanghai from 27 February to 3 March. Mr. Bo Xilai, Secretary of the CPC Chongqing Provincial Committee met with Mr. Glos. The two sides exchanged views on China-German relations, economic and trade ties and cooperation between Chongqing and Germany. Mr. Glos was accompanied by Ambassador Cheng Tao, Vice President of CPIFA, while visiting the two cities.
