From 22 to 26 October, at the invitation of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Hubert Aiwanger, Deputy Minister-President of Free State of Bavaria, visited Beijing and Guangdong. During his visit, Mr. LING Ji, Vice-Minister of MOFCOM, Mr. ZHANG Xin, Deputy Governor of Guangdong Province, Ms. LI Xin, Vice-Chairperson of CPPCC Guangdong Committee, Mr. LUO Huanghao, Deputy Mayor of Shenzhen, met with Mr. Hubert Aiwanger respectively. The two sides exchanged views on China-Germany relations and practical cooperation between two countries.

In Beijing, Mr.Hubert Aiwanger visited National Innovation Center of Intelligent and Connected Vehicles(CICV) and Li Auto. Mr.Hubert Aiwanger also visited the Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven. In Guangdong, Mr.Hubert Aiwanger attended the Ceremony to celebrate the 20th anniversary on sisterhood between Guangdong Province and State of Bavaria, visited BYD, WeRide, OSRAM Foshan Factory and Antuoshan Station of Shenzhen Bus Group.
