On the afternoon of March 21 local time in Buenos Aires, Amb. Li Jie, Vice President of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) met with Ms. Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, former President of Argentina. They exchanged views on strengthening sharing governance experience and promoting cooperation between institutions of the two nations. After the meeting, Amb. Li and Mr. Parrilli, Chairman of PATRIA (Pensamiento, Accióny Trabajopara la Inclusión Americana, a think tank initiated by former President Cristina), signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the two institutes. Amb. Li also made a keynote speech to more than 100 people from PATRIA on China’s poverty alleviation.
