2023 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit was held from November 8 to 10, 2023 in Wuzhen, Zhejiang province. President Xi Jinping addressed the opening ceremony via video. Mr. Li Shulei, Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech. With the theme of “Creating an Inclusive and Resilient Digital World Beneficial to All — Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace”, more than 1,800 representatives from 126 countries and regions participated in the Wuzhen Summit this year.
 
Mme. Shi Ling, Vice President of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) attended the opening ceremony, and delivered a speech at the Global Development Initiative Digital Cooperation Forum. Mme. Shi Ling pointed out in her speech that the Global Development Initiative(GDI) proposed by President Xi Jinping, with development as a priority, has built international consensus on promoting development and been widely commended by international community. As one of the GDI priority areas of cooperation, digital economy is conducive to help developing countries with digital capacity building and promote global sharing of the dividends of digital economy.
