On October 23rd, Ms. Shi Ling, Vice President of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), met with the delegation led by Mr. Høgni Hoydal, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Industry and Trade of the Government of the Faroe Islands. The two sides exchanged views on China-Denmark relations, China-Faroe Islands relations and other issues of common interest. H.E. Thomas Østrup Møller, Danish Ambassador to China and Mr. Sigmundur Ísfeld, Head of Faroe Islands Representation in Beijing and Minister of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark, were present.  on October 27th, Vice President Shi Ling also attended the Official Opening Reception of Faroe Islands Representation.

At the invitation of CPIFA, the delegation visited Beijing and Qingdao from October 22nd to October 28th. In Beijing, Mr. Deng Li, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ling Ji, Vice Minister of Commerce, and Mr. Wang Lingjun, Vice Minister of General Administration of Customs, met with the delegation respectively. In Qingdao, Mr. Cui Zuo, Vice Chairman of Qingdao Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of the Qingdao Federation of Industry and Commerce, met with the delegation. The delegation also attended the China Fisheries and Seafood Expo (CFSE) in Qingdao.
