On October 19th, Amb. Li Jie, Vice President of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), met with Dr. Akkan Suver, President of the Marmara Foundation of Türkiye, who was in China to attend the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.  
The two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations, the situation in the Middle East, the Belt and Road Initiative and topics of common interest.
