Vice President Li Jie Attends Seminar on "China's Reform and Opening-up: Lessons for Namibia"

On June 19, Vice President Li Jie delivered a keynote speech at the seminar on "China's Reform and Opening-up: Lessons for Namibia" held by Namibia Institute of Public Administration and Management(NIPAM) in Windhoek, featuring the characteristics of Chinese-style modernization and its enlightenment to Namibia, and he also elaborated on the 20th National Congress of CPC and “three initiatives”, namely Global Development Initiative, Global Security Initiative and Global Civilization Initiative.
H.E. Zhao Weiping, Chinese Ambassador to Namibia, Dr . George Simataa, Secretary to Namibia Cabinet and Chairperson of the NIPAM Governing Council, delivered opening remarks respectively. Associate Professor Liu Haifang of Peking University made a presentation.Nearly 200 people including senior officials from nine central government departments including the Prime Minister's Office, Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation,as well as local government officials, heads of state-owned and private enterprises, and media representatives attended the seminar.
