From June 6 to 9, at the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs, Alderman Nicholas Lyons, Lord Mayor of the City of London, visited Beijing. During this visit, Vice President Han Zheng, Mr. Yin Yong, Mayor of Beijing, and Mr. Zhou Liang, Vice Minister of the National Financial Regulatory Administration met with Alderman Lyons respectively. Alderman Lyons also met with Mr. Peng Chun, Chairman of the China Investment Corporation, Mr. Jin Liqun, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Mr. Liu Jin, President of the Bank of China, and Mr. Tian Guoli, Chairman of the China Construction Bank respectively. The two sides exchanged views on China-UK relations, financial regulatory reform, green finance and sustainable development.
