On May 19th, the RDCY Global Governance Forum (Summer 2023), co-hosted by the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) and Renmin University of China (RUC) and organized by the RUC Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies (RDCY), was held successfully in Beijing. The Forum was themed with “The Future of Chinese Modernization & Belt and Road Initiative”. Mr. Zhang Jiming, Vice President of CPIFA, attended the Forum and delivered opening remarks. H.E. Adrian Nǎstase, who visited China at the invitation of CPIFA, attended the Forum and delivered a keynote speech.

A research report about “Refuting the ‘Peak China’ Theory: Reflections on the Future of China’s Development” was also released. Over 10 experts from China, the UK, India and Romania had discussions on the theme of the Forum and took questions from the students and media present.
