On April 17th, 2023, Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan co-hosted the video conference on “Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Modern International Relations System: Vision for Peace and Sustainability”. Mr.Wang Chao, President of CPIFA, and Mr.Leonid Drachevsky, Executive Director of Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund delivered remarks both in the opening and closing sessions. SCO Deputy Secretary-General Mr.Nurlan Yermekbaev and about 20 guests from China, Russia, and Uzbekistan including Mr.Zhou Li, former vice minister of International Department, Central Committee of CPC, attended the conference and exchanged views on panels “Maintaining the Shanghai Spirit, strengthening solidarity and cooperation among member States” and “Seizing the trend of times, working together to improve global governance”.
