On November 13, the Press Conference of Understanding China Conference 2020 (Guangzhou) was held at Shangri-La Hotel, Guangzhou. Executive Vice President Li Junru of the China Institute for Innovation and Development Strategy(CIIDS), Vice President Li Huilai of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs(CPIFA), Deputy Director Deng Hong of the Information Office of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, Vice Director Zhu Xiaoyi of the Publicity Department of the CPC Guangzhou Municipal Committee attended the press conference and answered questions.

Vice President Li Huilai introduced the attendance of foreign guests. Up to now, more than 60 world-famous foreign guests in political and business circles have confirmed to attend the conference online or onsite. Li said that since the first conference held in 2013, Understanding China Conference has been gaining international influence and working as an important bridge and platform for promoting exchanges and dialogues between China and other countries. This year’s conference will be conducive to following global development trends, understanding China’s reform strategy and building more consensus.
