Congratulatory Letter on the 30th Anniversary of China-Singapore Diplomatic Relations from Amb. Tommy Koh

On October 1, Amb. Tommy Koh, Chairman of Centre for International Law of National University of Singapore (NUS), sent a letter to Mr. Wang Chao, President of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), congratulating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Singapore and the 71st anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

Amb. Koh said in the letter that, both China and Singapore have made progress over the past 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations. He believes the future of China and Singapore and that of China-Singapore relations are bright. He says China  today is a rich, powerful and respected country and wishes China continued progress in sustainable development, peace and harmony.

Amb. Koh said he was looking forward to the upcoming 15th China-Singapore Forum, hoping that the forum would continue to make contribution to friendship, mutual trust and understanding between the two countries.
