US Congressional Staff Delegation Organized by the National Committee on US-China Relations Visited China

At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), US Congressional Staff Delegation organized by the National Committee on US-China Relations visited Beijing, Xiamen and Zhangzhou from December 4 to 13, 2019.
In Beijing, Mr. Zhang Min, Secretary-General of the CPIFA and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs met with the delegation respectively and exchanged views on China-US relations, bilateral economic and trade cooperation as well as other issues of common interest.
In Xiamen, Ms. Liu Shaoqing, Vice Chairwoman of the Standing Committee of Xiamen Municipal People’s Congress met with the delegation and briefed them on local economic and social development. The delegation also had discussions with Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Ocean Development, the Bureau of Ethnic & Religious Affairs of Xiamen, Seashine Group, Luckin Coffee Company and Xiamen University, and visited Fujian Anjoy Food Co., Ltd.
In Zhangzhou, Mr.Liu Jialai, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of Zhangzhou Municipal People’s Congress and Mr. Zhu Baili, Party Secretary of Hua’an County Committee of CPC met with the delegation respectively and exchanged views with them on local economic and social development. The delegation also had discussion with officials of Guanshe Village and visited Zhangzhou Experimental Primary School.
