On April 8, a delegation consisting of about 60 students who won the 9th Macao Youth Diplomatic Knowledge Contest visited the CPIFA. CPIFA Vice President Zhao Weiping, Director Ma Hong of the Research Department, Vice Director-General Wang Ying of the U.N. Association of China and other staff members held a meeting withthe delegation. Director Ma and Vice Director-General Wang respectively shared brief introductions about CPIFA and UNA-China. Then Vice President Zhao and heads of related departments answered questions put forward by the studentsconcerning Sino-US relationship, the Korean Peninsula situationand the role of Macao in the Belt and Roadconstruction, etc. Before the meeting, the delegation presented flowers to the bronze statue of late Premier Zhou Enlai, the founder and the first Honorary President of the CPIFA. 

The delegation is led by Ms. Zhang Minhui, Acting Director of the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau of Macao SAR, and consists of teachers and students from about 10 middle schools in Macao including Kao Yip Middle School, Macao Fong Chong School, Kwong Tai Middle School, Keang Peng School, Pui Ching Middle School, Sheng Kung Hui Choi Kou School(Macao), Xinhua Evening Secondary School, Tong Sin Tong Middle School, Instituto Salesiano, Our Lady of Fatima Girls’ School.

Co-hosted by the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Macao, and Macao SAR Government, the Macao Youth Diplomatic Knowledge Contest has been held for 9 years since its inception in 2010.
