The First China France Track Two High-level Dialogue Holds in Paris

On 30 November 2018, the first China France Track Two High-level Dialogue, co-hosted by Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs and France China Foundation, was successfully held in Paris, France. The closed-door dialogue was co-chaired by Mr. Ji Bingxuan, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the NPC, and Mr. Laurent Fabius, President of the Constitutional Council of France. Over 30 representatives of the two countries from the government and academia participated in the dialogue and had candid and in-depth discussions on China-France relations, China-Europe relations, Climate Change and “One Belt and One Road” Development.

During the visit, Mr. Ji Bingxuan also met respectively with Mr. Laurent Fabius, Chairman of the Constitutional Council of France, Mr. Hugues Renson, Vice President of the National Assembly of France and Ms. Valerie Letard, Vice President of the Senate of France. The two sides exchanged views on China-France relations, exchanges and cooperation between the parliaments and other issues of common concern.
