The 11th Symposium on China-Japan Relations Holds in Tokyo

From November 12th to 16th, H.E. Amb. Wu Hailong, President of the CPIFA headed a delegation to attend the 11th Symposium on China-Japan Relations cosponsored by the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) and Japan Institute for International Policy Studies (IIPS) in Tokyo, Japan. 

At the opening ceremony of the Symposium, H.E. Amb. Wu Hailong, Chinese Ambassador to Japan H.E. Amb. Cheng Yonghua, and Mr. Nakasone Hirofumi, Vice President of the IIPS delivered opening remarks respectively. Delegates from the two sides made candid and in-depth discussions on topics of “Situation in Northeast Asia”, “World Trade”, “Heads of States Diplomacy and Sino-Japanese Relations”. The Chinese delegation includes Mr. Chen Xiaogong, Former Deputy Commander of the Air Force of the People's Liberation Army, Amb. Ou Boqian, Vice President of the CPIFA, Amb. Ning Fukui, Former Chinese Ambassador to South Korea, and some other high-level scholars. The Japanese delegation includes Mr. Nakasone Hirofumi, Vice President of the IIPS, Mr. Sonoura Kentaro, Dietman and Advisor to the Prime Minister of Japan, Mr. Fujisaki Ichiro, Director-General of the IIPS and so on. 

CPIFA working group also met with Former Japanese Prime Ministers Yukio Hatoyama and Yasuo Fukuda, Mr. Seiji Maehara, Former Japanese Foreign Minister and some other young Diemen in Tokyo, Mr. Imai Yutaka, President of Association of Dietmen League for Japan-China Friendship of Osaka Prefecture, and Mr. Komaki Mitsuji, President of Association of Dietmen League for Japan-China Friendship of Kyoto Prefecture, and had exchanges with institutes including Asia Pacifica Institute of Research and Keihanna Innovation Center in Osaka.
