At the invitation of Mr. Igor Ivanov, President of Russian International Affairs Council, President Wu Hailong led a CPIFA delegation to pay a friendly visit to Russia from 29th to 31th August 2018. 

In Russia, President Wu met respectively with Mr. Viktor Zubkov, Chairman of the board of directors of Gazprom and former Russian Prime Minister, Mr. Igor Ivanov, President of Russian International Affairs Council and former Russian Foreign Minister, and Mr. Andrey Kokoshin, Dean of Russian Academy of Sciences of Moscow State University and former Secretary of Russian Security Council. The two sides exchanged views on China-Russia relations，international situation， cooperation between CPIFA and Russian side as well as other issues.     

Mr. Liang Jianquan, Vice President of CPIFA， was also present at the meetings.
