At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), a delegation of the Dominican senators visited Beijing, Shanghai and Manzhouli, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from July 25 to Aug. 2, 2018.
During the visit, Mr. Baima Chilin, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC), Mr. Wang Chao, Vice Foreign Minister, Mr. Chen Guomin, Vice Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the NPC met with the delegation respectively. In Shanghai and Manzhouli, the delegation visited SINSUN Robot Hub, Yangshan Deep Water Harbor, and Manzhouli International Highway Port.
The delegation spoke highly of the great achievements of China’s economic and social development. They all believed that the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Dominican Republic and the People’s Republic of China was the trend of the Times, and was fully in line with the fundamental interests of the two countries and the peoples. The prospects of the bilateral cooperation between the two would be great and vast.
