From 24 to 30 September, at the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs(CPIFA), Ms. Vanda Sequeira, Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the Portuguese Republic, visited Beijing, Xi’an and Shanghai. In Beijing, State Councilor Yang Jiechi, Mr. Wang Chao, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Liang Jianquan, Vice President of CPIFA, Mr. Gong Guijun, Deputy Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Shannxi Provincial Government and Mr. Liu Guangyong, Deputy Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Shanghai Municipal Government, met with her respectively and exchanged views on further enhancing Sino-Portuguese relations as well as cooperation in various fields.
