At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), the Hon. Mr. Mohd Nazir Ahmadzai, Second Deputy Speaker of the House of People of Afghanistan, visited Beijing, Shenzhen and Guangzhou from 13th to 20th September. During their stay in China, H.E. Ms. Shen Yueyue, Vice-Chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Ms. Luo Juan, Vice-Chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial People's Congress and Ambassador Ou Boqian, Vice President of CPIFA, met with the delegation. The delegation also visited China Road and Bridge Corporation, the Metallurgical Corporation of China Group, HUAWEI Company, BYD Company, GAC Group and Southern Medical University. The two sides exchanged views on the China-Afghanistan friendly relations and cooperation, in particular the Belt and Road initiatives cooperation, as well as other issues of common interest.
