At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), H.E. Mr. Bertie Ahern, former Taoiseach of Ireland, H.E. Mr. Olusegun Obasanjo, former President of Nigeria, H.E. Mr. Andres Pastrana, former President of Columbia and H.E. Mr. Medgyessy Peter, former Prime Minister of Hungary visited China and attended Eco Forum Global Annual Conference Guiyang 2016 from July 7th to 10th. During the conference, H.E. Mr. Yu Zhengsheng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the National Committee of the CPPCC, met with them. H.E. Mr. Dai Bingguo, former State Councilor, Amb. Wu Hailong, President of CPIFA, Mr. Chen Min’er, Secretary of Guizhou Provincial Committee of the CPC, and Mr. Sun Zhigang, Governor of Guizhou Provincial Government also met with them respectively on different occasions.  Besides, Mr. Ahern and Mr. Medgyessy visited Jiangxi Province and Beijing respectively.
