At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), The 103rd Congressional Staff Delegation organized by US-Asia Institute visited Beijing, Shanghai and Jiangxi from March 27th to April 4th. In Beijing, Amb. Chen Naiqing, Vice President of CPIFA, and officials from Ministry of Foreign Affairs met with the delegation respectively. The delegation also had discussions with China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations and the Institute of American Studies of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. The two sides exchanged views on Sino-US relations, China’s diplomatic and security policy and topics of common interests. In Jiangxi Province, Vice Governor Liu Changlin met with and hosted a lunch in honor of the delegation.
