At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Laurent Fabius, President of the Constitutional Council, former Prime Minister and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, visited Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin from March 24 to 27. In Beijing, Mr. Li Yuanchao, Vice President of China, met with him and exchanged views on Sino-French relations, the 13^th Five-year Plan and the law system of France. Mr. Fabius also had meetings respectively with Mr. Zhou Qiang, Chief Justice and President of the Supreme People's Court, and Mr. Wang Yi, Minister of Foreign Affairs. In Tianjin, Mr. Fabius received the honorary doctoral degree of Nankai University and delivered a speech titled “ COP21: Keep the Spirit of Paris Alive”.
