Former President of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski Visits China

At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), Mr. Bronislaw Komorowski, former President of Poland, visited Beijing, Hebei, Sichuan and Shaanxi from March 14 to 22. In Beijing, Mr. Li Yuanchao, Vice President of China, met with him and exchanged views on the development of the Belt and Road Initiative, Sino-Poland bilateral relations and the 13th Five-year Plan. Mr. Komorowski also had meetings respectively with Mr. Li Wei, President of the Development Research Center of the State Council, Mr. Hao Ping, Vice Minister of Education, Mr. Jiang Zengwei, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Mr. Jin Liqun, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. Ambassador Sun Rongmin, Vice President of CPIFA met and hosted a luncheon for the delegation. Moreover, Mr. Komorowski delivered a speech at Beijing Foreign Studies University on China in the Eyes of Poland and EU. Besides, Mr. Zhao Yong, Deputy Secretary of Hebei Provincial CPC Committee, Mr. Wang Dongming, Secretary of Sichuan Provincial CPC Committee, and Ms. Wang Lixia, Vice Governor of Shaanxi Province, met with Mr. Komorowski respectively and exchanged views on enhancing regional cooperation between China and Poland.
