The Third CPIFA-ICWA Dialogue on China-India Relations Holds in Beijing

On March 7, the Third CPIFA-ICWA Dialogue on China-India Relations, co-sponsored by the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) and the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA), was successfully held in Beijing. Amb. Lu Shumin, Executive President of CPIFA, and Amb. Nalin Surie, Director General of ICWA, delivered opening remarks respectively. Under the theme of “Strengthen India-China Cooperation”, the delegates from both sides had a frank and in-depth discussion on topics including  “China-India Strategic Cooperation in Regional Affairs”, “China-India Economic Cooperation: Investment, G20 and BRICS”, “Anti-Terrorism Cooperation between China and India” and “Broad-basing the India-China Relationship: Creating Constituencies of Support”.

      

During the India delegation’s stay in Beijing, Amb. Yang Wenchang, President of CPIFA, and Amb. Kong Xuanyou, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with or hosted dinner for the delegation.
