From 11 to 14 October, at the invitation of CPIFA, Mr. Günther Platter, Governor of the Federal State of Tyrol of Austria, visited China. In Beijing, Mr. Yang Shu’an, Vice Minister of the General Administration of Sport of China as well as Vice President of the Chinese Olympic Committee, and Mrs. Hou Yulan, Deputy Secretary General of Beijing Municipal Government, met the delegation respectively. Both sides exchanged views on winter sports and further cooperation in sports. Moreover, the delegation visited Henan, sister province of Tyrol. The two sides signed a Memorandum of Cooperation and Exchange to further develop the relationship of sister provinces and promote practical cooperation in various fields. Mr. Xie Fuzhan, Governor of Henan met with the delegation and held a welcome luncheon in honor of Governor Platter.
