Delegation of Bangladesh Former Ambassadors to China Visits Xinjiang and Beijing

       At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), Delegation of Bangladesh Former Ambassadors to China visited Xinjiang and Beijing from Sept. 19 to 25 to learn about China’s economic development, policies of “One Belt One Road” and “BCIM Economic Corridor” Initiatives. During their stay in China, Amb. Lu Shumin, Executive President of CPIFA, Amb. Li Jun, Assistant Minister of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the CPC, Amb.Xiao Qian, Ambassador for Asian Affairs of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Ma Dexin, Deputy Director-General of Foreign Affairs Office, Xinjiang Autonomous Region, met with or hosted dinner for the delegation respectively. They also visited Tulufan City, Xinjiang, and had a seminar on “One Belt One Road” with Chinese scholars and experts from CICIR in Beijing.

       The delegation spoke highly of the friendship between Bangladesh and China, and amazed by China’s great economic achievements. They hope that the two countries could have balanced development of economic and trade relations and also wish to learn from China’s experience.
