South Sudan Press Delegation Visits China

    At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), South Sudan Press Delegation visited Beijing, Jiangxi and Shenzhen from July 12 to 18 to learn about China’s revolutionary history and achievements of reform and opening up. During their stay in China, Mr. Peng Keyu, Vice President of CPIFA, Mr. Chen Weiqing, Deputy Director General of West Asia and North African Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Huang Shuhua, Vice Mayor of Jinggangshan City, met with or hosted dinner for the delegation respectively. They also visited Xinhua News Agency, Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base Site and the headquarters of Huawei Technologies. Co. LTD.

The delegation spoke highly of the friendship between South Sudan and China. With a better understanding of the China’s revolutionary history and the significance of peace and stability to economic development, members of the delegation also expressed wish to learn from China’s experience.
