At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), the 99th U.S. Congressional Staff Delegation organized by U.S.-Asia Institute visited Beijing, Nanjing and Harbin from June 28 to July 6. During their stay in Beijing, relevant officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and CPIFA met with the delegation respectively.  Experts and scholars of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences also held discussions with them. The two sides exchanged views on China-US relations, bilateral economic and trade cooperation and other issues of common concern.
