At the invitation of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), the 1^st US Media Delegation of 2015 organized by the China-United States Exchange Foundation visited Shanghai, Chengdu and Beijing from May 12 to 23. During their stay in China, officials from the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People’s Congress and the Department of North American and Oceanian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs met with them respectively. The delegation held roundtable discussions with experts from Shanghai Institute for International Studies, professors and students from Sichuan University and journalists from China Daily. They also visited US business companies in China.
