At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), three US Congressional Staff Delegations organized by the US-Asia Foundation in 2015 visited Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Xi’an, Chengdu and Shenzhen in late March and early April. During their stay in China, Madame Ambassador Chen Naiqing, Vice President of CPIFA, relevant officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other Ministries met with them respectively. The delegations also held discussions with Chinese scholars and experts and visited Microsoft China Research & Development Group as well as some China-US joint venture companies.
