At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), H.E. Mr. Ehud Barak, former Israeli Prime Minister visited Beijing and Shanghai from Sept. 2 to 10, 2014 accompanied by his wife. H.E. Mr. Wang Yang, Vice-Premier of China's State Council met with him. H.E. Mr. Barak was also received by Mr. Zhang Ming, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Liu Yazhou,  Political Commissar of National Defense University, Mr. Wu Zhiming, Chairman of the Shanghai CPPCC, Mr. Yu Keping, Deputy Director of Central Compilation and Translation Bureau, Mr. Jiang Mianheng, President of ShanghaiTech University, Mr. Li Keping, General Manager of China Investment Corporation, Mr. Yang Hua, General Manager of China National Offshore Oil Corporation, and Mr. Song Hailiang, President of ZPMC respectively. Amb. Peng Keyu, Vice President of CPIFA met with and held a banquet for his delegation.
