At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), Mr. Henry Paulson, Chairman of the Paulson Institute at the University of Chicago and former United States Secretary of Treasury, visited Beijing from June 29 to July 3, 2014. During his stay, President Xi Jinping met with him and his delegation. He also held meetings with the Minister of Commerce and other leading officials of the relevant government agencies. Mr. Paulson also attended “the CEO Round-Table Conference on China-US Bilateral Investment Agreement”，which was jointly sponsored by the Paulson Institute and Goldman Sachs Group.
