At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), four U.S. Congressional Staff Delegations organized by US-Asia Foundation, US-Asia Institute and US-China Policy Foundation visited China in April 2014. The delegations are mainly composed of U.S. Congressional senior policy advisers. During their stay in Beijing, officials from the General Office of the Standing Committee of National People’s Congress, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Commerce met with the delegations respectively. The two sides exchanged views on China-U.S. relations, bilateral economic and trade cooperation, and other issues of common interests.
