At the invitation of Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), a trade and cultural delegation from Texas led by Congressman Al Green visited Beijing, Tianjin, Zhengzhou, Xi’an and Shanghai from April 14^th to 22^nd. In Beijing, Executive Vice President of CPIFA Lu Shumin and Director General of National Confucius Institute Xu Lin and others met with the delegation respectively. This visit was aimed at gaining first-hand knowledge about China’s economic, social and cultural development and exploring ways with the Chinese side of expanding cooperation between China and Texas in a wide range of fields.
