The 4th Dialogue on US-China Relations Holds in Beijing

       The 4th Dialogue on US-China Relations, co-sponsored by China Institute for Innovation and Development Strategy (CIIDS), the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) and Law School of Yale University, was held in Beijing from March 27th to 29th, 2014. Amb. Yang Wenchang, President of CPIFA, delivered opening remarks. Mr. Zheng Bijian, Chairman of CIIDS, made a keynote speech. The two sides held in-depth discussion on issues relating to constructing the New Type of Major Country Relationship between China and the US and the security issues in the Asia-Pacific region.
       Vice Premier Wang Yang and former State Councilor Dai Bingguo met with the American delegation respectively on the sideline of the dialogue.
       Participants from the US side include Mr. Stephen Hadley, former National Security Advisor to President, Amb. Charlene Barshefsky, former US Trade Representative, Mr. James Steinberg, former Deputy Secretary of State, Prof. Paul Gewirtz, Director of China Center at Law School of Yale University, and others.
