From Jan. 19 to 24, 2014, at the invitation of the CPIFA, H.E. Mr. Jorge Glas, Vice President of Ecuador visited Beijing. The Ecuadorean delegation consisted of Mr. Rafael Poveda, Minister of Strategic Sectors, Mr. Fausto Herrera, Minister of Finance, Mr. Ramiro Gonzalez, Minister of Industry and Productivity, Mr. Sergio Ruiz, Secretary General of The Vice President Office, Amb. Leonardo Arizaga, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Mrs. Ximena Amoroso, Vice Minister of High-level Education and Science. During the stay in Beijing, H.E. Mr. Li Yuanchao, Vice President of China met with and hosted a banquet for the Ecuadorean delegation. Mr. Wan Gang, Minister of Science and Technology, Mr. Miao Wei, Minister of Industry and Information, Mr. Gao Hucheng, Minister of Commerce and Mr. Wan Jifei, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade met with the delegation respectively. The Ecuadorean Delegation also respectively joined in the meetings with China Development Bank, the Export-Import Bank of China, ICBC, SINOSURE, CNPC and SINOHYDRO, etc. Amb. Peng Keyu, Vice President of the CPIFA, attended all the meetings with the delegation.
