In order to have comprehensive and objective understanding of China and its great achievements since its reform and open policy, South Sudan Media delegation visited Beijing, Jiangxi and Fujian from December 14 to 23 at the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA). During the visit, Amb. Peng Keyu, Vice President of CPIFA, Mr. Li Lianhe, Deputy Director-General of West Asian and North African Department of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, and officials from Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Jiangxi Province and Xiamen City and other relevant authorities met with or held banquet for the delegation respectively. The delegation also had seminars with China International Telecommunication Construction Corporation and China Harbor Engineering Company and paid visit to urban and rural areas for their development.

    The delegation spoke highly of the friendship between South Sudan and China and was deeply impressed by China’s development. They wish that South Sudan should learn from Chinese experience and keep peace and focus on economic development.
