From August 11 to 16, Hon. James Abbott, former member of Canadian Parliamentary, visited Beijing and Tianjin, at the invitation of CPIFA. During their stay in China, Ambassador Lu Shumin, Executive Vice President of CPIFA, met with him and his delegation. They also visited Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and China Foundation for Peace and Development and held discussions on the ways to promote Sino-Canadian relations.
