On January 29^th, Mr. Yang Wenchang, President of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs, met with Mr. Clark Randt, former U.S. Ambassador to China, and hosted a luncheon in his honor. Both sides exchanged views on Sino-U.S. relations and other issues. Mr. Yang spoke highly of Mr. Randt’s contributions to promoting US-China relations during his service as U.S. Ambassador to China. Mr. Yang Jiechi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, also met with Mr. Randt on the same day.
