At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), Mr. Henry Paulson, Chairman of the Paulson Institute at the University of Chicago and former US Secretary of the Treasury, visited Beijing and Changsha from November 28 to December 7, 2012. During his stay in China, Vice Premer Li Keqiang and Wang Qishan, Party Secretary Zhou Qiang of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the CPC, met with Mr. Paulson respectively. Mr. Paulson also attended the Conference of “Cities of the Future: Urban Sustainability in Modern China” sponsored by China Center for International Exchanges.
