At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), Mr. William Cohen, Former US Secretary of Defense, Chairman and CEO of the Cohen Group, attended Tianjin Summer Davos Forum and visited Beijing from September 9 to 14, 2012. During his stay in Beijing, Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi, Vice Minister Huang Jiefu of Ministry of Health, Vice Minister Wang Chao of Ministry of Commerce，Director Jia Jingdun of China Rural Technology Development Center met with him respectively. Mr. Li Zhaoxing, Honorary President of CPIFA, hosted a dinner in Mr. Cohen’s honor. The two sides exchanged views on international and regional issues of mutual interest and other issues concerning the China-US economic and trade cooperation.
